Four unlikely friends are teamed up together for a school project. Their
assignment - to illustrate the history of their small lake town. What they
don’t expect is to find history repeating itself.
The Paiute Indians have lived in Pyramid Lake for centuries. They have
fished and raised their children on the legends of their people. More
than 100 years they faced the influx of miners seeking treasure. Close to
100 years ago they faced the government and the idea of building a dam
that would dry up their lake and the main source of income – the
Kooyooe fish.
Now the government is back to reevaluate the idea of a dam; and with
them comes many changes to the native tribe. What happens when old
legends are stirred up? What if they aren’t really legends but based in
truth? What is the tribe protecting in the lake?
Four students are about to find out...
